Hardening and Judgement
Preacher: Todd Odenath Series: Exodus Scripture: Exodus 7:1– 8:32
Have you ever found yourself resisting what was right, digging in your heels, even when the truth was plain? We’ve all had moments when pride, fear, or frustration kept us from yielding to the plain truth.
This Sunday, we’ll be continuing in the book of Exodus, looking at chapters 7:1–8:32. It’s the beginning of the account of God’s mighty hand at work in Egypt—unleashing plagues, showing signs, and confronting Pharaoh again and again. But the central thread running through it all is this: Pharaoh’s heart was hard.
What does that mean? Who hardened it—and why? And what does that say to us today?
