One of the common struggles we face is not simply knowing what God calls us to do, but actually living it out. We often ask, “What is God’s will for my life?”—longing for a dramatic sign or fresh word from heaven.
Yet in Exodus 20:1–2 we see that God has already spoken with clarity:
“And God spoke all these words, saying, ‘I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.’”
Before giving the Ten Commandments, the Lord first reminds His people that He is their covenant Redeemer. His commands flow from redemption. The good news for us is that in Christ, the One who perfectly obeyed, we find both forgiveness and strength to walk in God’s ways.
