Trusting God’s Provision

“You shall not steal” (Exodus 20:15). At first glance, it sounds simple. But the command exposes something far deeper than outward acts of theft. It exposes the lack of trust toward the provision of God.

The deeper problem is unbelief. We grasp because we fear lack. We take because we do not rest in the Father who provides daily bread. The command confronts our doubt and drives us to the One who fulfills it.

Christ is the gift of a generous Father. In Him, the command is not only upheld but fulfilled. In Him, fearful hands become generous hands.
