Christ in the Psalms

In this sermon, Aaron Eggiman of Covenant Baptist Church, Santa Clarita, uses Psalm 12 to demonstrate how the Psalms ultimately point to and are fulfilled in Jesus Christ.

At the center of the psalm is God’s promise to arise and set the oppressed in safety. This promise reaches its fulfillment in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Through union with Him, believers share in that safety, secured not by human strength but by God’s decisive act in Christ.

The sermon highlights the purity and reliability of God’s Word and the certainty that He will preserve His people, even when wickedness surrounds them.
