What are we doing at the Lord’s Supper?

In this sermon, delivered at Centinela Baptist Church, Pastor Todd Odenath preaches from 1 Corinthians 11:23–32 on the Lord’s Supper. Paul’s instruction teaches us that the Table is not a bare memorial, but Christ’s spiritually appointed meal for His church. At the Lord’s Supper, Christians remember Christ’s death, receive Christ by faith, repent as they examine themselves and discern the body, and rejoice that even the Lord’s discipline is merciful love for His people.
